I started writing this post weeks ago and I completely forgot about it so it's a bit overdue, but oh well. I am really, really pale so I love a bit of colour whenever I can be bothered (pale and lazy is an awful combination). I'm a massive fan of Made in Chelsea and Binky has recently become the model for Sun Shimmer so when I saw it on offer I thought I'd give it a go.
I started off by buying the pre-tan exfoliator which I didn't really have high hopes for because I have the Soap and Glory Scrub of you Life. I knew it would do what I needed it to do so I wasn't really fussed about it. I also bought the Instant Tan 9 in 1 BB Skin Perfector in medium matte. It's a wash off tan which helps my tanning nerves as I always go patchy and streaky, I applied it with my St. Tropez mit (which hurt a little bit) and I'll admit that at first I wasn't sure but I went out that night and I got so many compliments on how I looked and how nice my tan was. I did need to put a fair bit on to get a nice colour so I was glad I didn't get the lightest colour.
I did like this tan but I do have a few negative points I wouldn't say it was a 'skin perfector' as it seemed to highlight any flaws in my skin, especially on my legs and chest. Also, having a wash off tan is all well and good for when you want colour just for one night but it's a pain when you need to wash your hands after doing something and it all comes off up to your wrist.
Apart from that I felt really confident with my lovely brown legs out, I jus hope I can last these last few weeks before my well deserved holiday! I was even sad when I showered the next morning and it all washed off.
